When it comes to exercise, cycling is probably one of the easiest exercises to do. Unless you don’t know how to ride a bike, cycling around the block for a maximum of 2 to 4 hours is a great way to get in shape and to lose weight as well. Back in the day, I would ride my bike from my house to the supermarket right across town. If I need to send something to the post office or my wife forgot to buy that extra carton of milk, I’d volunteer at once for an opportunity to get some exercise once again with my bike.
Why Cycling is Healthy and Fun!
After hours of riding my bike, I’d be soaked in sweat but I feel extremely refreshed. Nothing beats riding a bicycle during a hot windy day. Cycling also improves your heart circulation; if it’s your first time riding a bike, you’d probably feel like panting for hours especially if you are cycling in an area where the terrain is high enough. Of course, don’t cycle in an area where there are many trucks and cars passing by. And never cycle in a highway because you might end up getting into an accident with a car or any passing vehicle.

Even medical science agrees that cycling is beneficial. Doctors recommend around 2 to 4 hours of cycling every early morning to improve cardiovascular function among patients with hypertension and heart disease. Here are the other benefits that one can get with hours of cycling:
